In this Art Snak, I'll show you how to use leaves with a gel plate, acrylic paint, and a few simple techniques to create beautiful prints in your journal. You'll also see how these same ideas can be translated into your mixed media paintings, collage, and other creative projects.

Part I — Rubbings
Using oil pastel crayons and paint with your leaves, we'll create gorgeous journal pages with the most basic of supplies.
Parts II, III, and IV — Gel Plate Printing in a Variety of Ways
You'll learn several methods for using a gel plate with fresh leaves in your art journal.
Part V — Making Edits and Using Collage Scraps
We'll use paint and collage scraps made from our brayer cleanup papers to transform our journal pages.
